Investment in a New Drawtape Line to Boost Capacity and Lead Time

We are excited to announce that in December, we took an important step forward by commissioning a new drawtape production line, replacing an older unit as part of our continuous investment in efficiency and quality. This upgrade allows us to increase output on the drawtape segment by approximately 20%, while significantly improving process stability and reliability.

With this upgrade in place, we are ready to serve our customers with even greater efficiency.

The new line strengthens our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality drawtape bags and supports our commitment to meeting growing customer demand with dependable lead times. Together with our existing production capabilities, this investment ensures smoother operations and enhanced performance across our bag portfolio.

If you are interested in a quotation for drawtape bags, bottom seal bags, or wavetop bags, be it in PCR or biodegradable material please send your inquiry to info@powerpack-kos.com.

Our team will get back to you within 24 hours.

What is PCR and how it becomes a Powerpack waste bag?

At Powerpack, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. One of the key ways we contribute to a greener future is through the use of PCR – Post-Consumer Recycled material.

So, what is PCR?
PCR is plastic that has already been used by consumers, collected, cleaned, and processed to create a new raw material that is brought back to the loop. Using PCR reduces the need for virgin plastic, lowers environmental impact, and supports the circular economy.

To ensure high-quality standards and our adherence to QA CER, we work only with certified recycling companies that follow strict processes. Here’s how PCR is created and turned into the waste bags you know from Powerpack:

  1. Collection: Post-consumer plastic waste, mainly LDPE (low-density polyethylene), is collected from households, businesses, and industrial sources.
  2. Sorting: The collected waste is carefully sorted to remove contaminants and separate plastics by type.
  3. Recycling: LDPE waste is cleaned, shredded, and processed by certified recycling companies to produce high-quality recycled granules.
  4. Production: Powerpack takes these recycled granules and transforms them into durable, reliable waste bags, ready for use in households and industry alike.

This process ensures that every bag we produce contributes to a greener, more sustainable future, reducing virgin plastic use and promoting a circular economy.

Installation of Photovoltaic System at Powerpack LLC

We are proud to announce the successful installation of a photovoltaic (PV) system at Powerpack LLC, marking an important milestone in our sustainability journey.

The project involved an investment in a 127.6 kWp solar power system, completed in less than one week, during which 220 photovoltaic panels were installed by the contractor’s team. Once fully operational, the system will generate approximately 10% of Powerpack’s total electricity consumption, directly supporting our transition toward more climate-friendly and energy-efficient production.

This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, increasing the share of renewable energy in our operations, and contributing to a more sustainable industrial future.

At Powerpack, we believe that responsible production today is essential for a greener tomorrow.
